usual thread starter… Does anyone out there think Ramos – with a heap of new signings (probably from Spanish clubs) in the summer – can turn the Spuds into a top four club?

No way will Spurs be top four next season and it still needs a transition period (Arsenal) or board room problems to destabilise a club (Liverpool) for one side to threaten to drop out of it but what he, Moyes, O'Neil, Sven and maybe Redknapp can hope to do is be there when it does and eventually open the top four into a top seven or so teams.
Ramos is a good manager who likes his teams to play good football so at least Spurs won't be another Bolton. He can do a very good job with them but only if the board don't sabotage it, they have enough money and the Director of Football doesn't buy utter rubbish while neglecting key area's of the team as he did under Jol. Arsen or whatever and Ramos have to be able to work with each other for Spurs to make a serious dint at CL places rather then just another false dawn

The chant which pisses me off more than any other is `stand up if you hate Tottenham`Who are Tottenham a middle of the table team who won the Carling Cup because the big clubs don`t take it seriously.The spuds are not our main rivals anymore it`s Man U,Chelsea and Liverpool so don`t let us hear anymore of that stupid chant.
