Van Persie saga, officially not extending contract.

If Wenger had offered RVP a new contract any season before the last he would have been slagged off to the hills. Hell, we even had people on here saying Wenger should sell him! Hindsight is wonderful though isn't it?
Hindsight is, especially when he gives long contracts to shit players.... (who we can't get rid of now)

I agree with MM in that all we can say is that it's gross imcompetence from the club whichever way you look at it.

Now where are all you deluded fools who felt rvp would sign a new deal ?? He has just released a statement saying that he will not be signing a new deal, that he did not even discuss financial terms with wenger and kroenke and that he does not agree with the way they intend taking the club forward

Thanks for everything robin, you are of course 100% right but please now fcuk off so that we can proceed with burning our own house down and hopefully phw, , kroenke and smarmy Ivan will be in it when it burns  Shower of despicable c**ts

Update for the fans http://robinvanpersie.com/2012/07/04/up ... -the-fans/

"As announced earlier this year I had a meeting with the boss [Arsene Wenger] and Mr [Ivan] Gazidis after the season. This was a meeting about the club's future strategy and their policy. Financial terms or a contract have not been discussed, since that is not my priority at all.

"I personally have had a great season but my goal has been to win trophies with the team and to bring the club back to its glory days. Out of my huge respect for Mr Wenger, the players and the fans I don't want to go into any details, but unfortunately in this meeting it has again become clear to me that we in many aspects disagree on the way Arsenal should move forward.

"I've thought long and hard about it, but I have decided not to extend my contract. You guys, the fans, have of course the right to disagree with my view and decision and I will always respect your opinions.

"I love the club and the fans, no matter what happens. I have grown up and became a man during my time with Arsenal. Everybody at the club and the fans have always supported me over the years and I have always given my all (and more) on and off the pitch. I am very proud of being part of this fantastic club for the last eight years. As soon as Mr Gazidis is back from his two-week holiday in America further meetings will follow and I will update you if and when there are more developments."

I would be very dissapointed if he has made this announcement before a buyer has been found, as this now means we are over a barrell when the buyer come in, i.e. they are going to fuck us right up the arse(nal) and we can do nothing but bend over and take it. In saying that im pretty sure he has the class to make this announcement when he knows his next club is sorted. If he hasnt hes a fucking dumbass.

Not a surprise, but sad all the same.

Clutching at straws here, but are we sure it's his real twitter account?  - twitter is a breeding ground for bullshit after all.

So in the last year we lose three top class players because they realized our club are a bunch of underachieving, unambitious wankers. Yet shite like Diaby and Squidward are still on the books.

So next year we start up front with a Moroccan who can't score unless it's got boobs and a dick, a Korean who thinks getting some game time is a multiplayer match of Starcraft, the worlds greatest striker ever, and another Frenchman from Ligue 1.

Fuck my life...

Any chance of protests or making our feelings known yet? Our players are coming out & saying the very things we all know, that we're an ambitionless bunch off money grabbing fuckwits. Are we gonna sit back & continue to cough up to fund all this?
