As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

So next year we start up front with a Moroccan who can't score unless it's got boobs and a dick, a Korean who thinks getting some game time is a multiplayer match of Starcraft, the worlds greatest striker ever, and another Frenchman from Ligue 1.
What a fucking disaster that is, Podolski/Giroud are in no way an adequate replacement for one of the world's best, not to mention the fact the club is only going one way as it continues to sell key players. I know he's hardly the most popular player but I doubt Walcott will sign a new contract either.
That statement clearly tries to discredit the theories that will arise about personal greed and shift the blame onto Wenger and Gazidis. To be honest I hope the details become clear because RvP/the club at least owe the fans a proper explanation as to why our best players are flocking for the exits.
Aside from the disaster in losing a world class player, it's fucking disappointing that he has released this now making another year an unrealistic proposition regardless of the board's motives and also whacking a substantial amount off the price we can get for him (cautious about sounding like an AFC board member now).
With that said, it doesn't look like the club will be changing it's policies any time soon then. I honestly had high hopes of RVP extending his contract. Absolute shit.

Just thought that myself mate. Open invite for bids of £10M and similar ridiculous amounts because clubs now know he's not staying.
He was fcuking right to release this now - last season our start was fcuked over by all the posturing and bullshit coming out of the club saying how no club could ever sell Cesc and nasri and be classed as a big club (nice one wenger ) when we all knew that they were off. This summer rvp has come out early, laid his cards on the table and is forcing the club to resolve it sooner rather than later and if by doing so it decreases the selling price by a few million then I don't give a shit cos it is a few million less in kroenke's pocket( you don't really believe he will re-invest the money do you ?)
As gutted as I am that he's going, I'm absolutely delighted that he called out Wenger and Gazidis in his statement. He has my respect for that, highlighting that with these self serving cretins at the helm, Arsenal FC is being fucked from the inside.
The very minute Arsenal did early business in the window is was all up.

He continued: "Out of my huge respect for Mr Wenger, the players and the fans I don’t want to go into any details, but unfortunately in this meeting it has again become clear to me that we in many aspects disagree on the way Arsenal FC should move forward.
Just seen SSN. Oh dear,
Call me deluded but, I honestly thought that the club had learned something from last season, and the preceeding one's regarding, the allowing of our best players to leave. I thought that they might be listening to the supporters concerns.
