that's the part i don't understand. every source i read here in brazil wrote that são paulo will have to pay more than last term to keep him. now if that means that his loan has a fee that has increased, or if his wages were not being all paid up by são paulo, i can't say, and most people who write about that are bloggers making guesses and agents marketing their players through the press. the only thing the local press says is that the deal took longer because arsenal wanted to sell only, so são paulo made a more profitable loan offer that was then accepted. that could be bollocks as well.

truth is that his contract will be up in a year when this loan finishes, so if we had any (stupid) hopes of getting some reasonable money for him, that's gone. at least it's refreshing to know he won't be anywhere near the squad...
