I don't think he will make a move until he had the support of the fans, he will have it now and Stan is on the wobble.
His timing on this is perfect.

Im sure this was just knocked up overnight
Designed to split the fans, and if that happens the fat lump will be the only winner. How can you say your not out to destabalise the club when your doing just that? Amazing.

Re: Alisher Usmanov criticises Arsenal board
Perfect timing from Red & White. Kick the board when their down.
Seemingly ticked every box to appease fans and to cause anger toward the current board.
Clever PR & Spin.
Wouldn't surprise me if RvP is connected in some way (D.Dein?) and is being used as a pawn.
(Just to clarify I'm not advocating the current board nor I'm supporting R&W)

Behave, the club is destabilized due to our best players being sold year on year, he is not behind that.
Re: Alisher Usmanov criticises Arsenal board
Billionaire A is trying to make shit loads of money out of the club. Billionaire B doesn't like this because he wants it to be him who is making shitloads of money out of the club in stead.
Yawn.
Wake me up when the football's back on.

Okay. Now I can begin to enjoy my day.

Re: Alisher Usmanov criticises Arsenal board
One of the answers in the comment section to the letter:
"this is a bit underhanded to say the least.
I don’t want this man anywhere near the club, his money was made under extremely acrimonious circumstances, and I just get a bad feeling surrounding him.
releasing this letter right now given the Van Persie news yesterday is a ridiculous power play. please guys, don’t fall to his ploys. The model we have now is the right one for the future, establishing a self sustaining business is key to maintaining a club that can remain among the top for decades to come. the board haven’t made a ton of great decisions in recent history, but letting this man anywhere near the club is a mistake.
The idea of immediate funds and players is tempting, but in a football world about to see the implementation of FFP, this is a bad course of action. Wenger could do with some added support (his legend status is being tarnished a bit by this swathe of recent departures) but Usmanov isn’t the way forward"
It's like listening to a little Wenger brainwashed puppy...

Re: Alisher Usmanov criticises Arsenal board
I did, there was a slight hint to that in his final sentence, but unless he puts his money where his mouth is, then it's no more than the rhetoric we get from the current lot, regarding wanting the best for the club.mikeyb772001 wrote:DID YOU READ THE FUL LETTER SID?goonersid wrote:As much as I want Usmanov to takeover the club, I think unless he is willing to make an offer then I don't see what he is complaining about, he has already stated that he doesn't wish to be on the board, so is in fact powerless to influence investment.

Usmanov has the wealth to buy and sell Kroenke and his more wealthy missus 20 times over. If he is the genuine fan he claims to be then now is the time to prove it. Even an offer to show his intentions, but somehow I don't think it will happen.
