As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
The problems we have are that Arsenal FC lack ambition ( 4th is like winning ) not! but we also have owners who don't want to spend money so it's a lose lose situation.
Nothing is going to change until these idiots are removed, what I don't think they've grasped is that the cash cow is just about to dry up, I'm struggling to see how we qualify for the CL next time, then there's less money to spend and the downward spiral begins.
loving watching the akbs in meltdown have no idea what to do now that someone they worshipped has said the exact same thing as most on here have been saying for years. its now indistputable and there only response is turning on rvp. what will it take for them to finally see whats going on right in front of them? not even the word of the club captain!!
piresistable just sums em up. mikey is spot on.
podolski and girourd are promising signings, but not great. girourd, completely unproven, pod, a big fish type player (should do well here now then!!) why no other big clubs in for him??
showing ambition would be strengthening the same weaknesses that have existed for eons. its patently obvious that defence, dm and creative midfield will not be addressed, and that forced rvp's hand. likewise rvp will not be replaced. giroud and pod are his replacement.

Two strikers purchased at roughly £22m, add to that their wages and add ons, and there is the cash from the sale of RvP and the savings on his signing on fee and wages, plus some.
I reckon that just unknown bits and bobs might be bought in, if anyone.
For people wanting another striker, if Gyan hasn't officially left Sunderland yet apparently he's going for 7mil? He's worth more than that to be fair but he'd do well here.

Wage demands will likely be astronomical, somebody will offer him £100k+ a week and he'll go wherever that is.
