Champions League Draw a fix

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If it was a fix it wouldn't surprise me one bit. The FA have been doing it for years. . . . How many times has a North London cup final been avoided through us drawing the other half of north London in the semis . . .

Agreed. There's probably a simple explanation but whenever bookies get involved it always makes me wonder.

It is very simple to fake posts, so the other replies qustioning the souce could be fake too.

Strange that the mainstream media have not picked up on it, Talksport are usually straight onto a bit of scandal.

Rob.

Well seeing that them two cheap newspapers are running the stories, I won't take it seriously. They are sensationalists with the "Englander" attitude. They'll say "UEFA fixed it so England won't rule, blah blah blah" If Guardian and the likes publish this story than it's got to be credible otherwise just rubbish.

In what way does it benefit anyone...there's a chance that Man Utd could meet Liverpool in the final in Moscow...could you imagine the fans...it'd be carnage...they hate each other as much as we hate S***rs
Spot on mate, when we played United at Old Trafford in the FA Cup i had to pick my ticket up from their box office just outside the Main Stand as i got a previous day cancellation. On the day there was a problem with some of the United fans' tickets so i had to stand in line with about 300 Mancs whilst i qued for my away ticket with the odd Gooner plotted down the line. Just as we got inside the building there must of been several hundred United fans and there were TV's on with Sky Sports News just when Barnsley scored that winner v Liverpool on 85/90mins. Put it this way lads, to cut a long story short i had first hand knowledge of how much Manure hate the Mickeys! as Daybreak put it- it was CARNAGE!!
