Without trying to bamboozle you with technical jargon, I think you'll find that your computer is fucked.

It will give you an option to find an old restore point. Just select the last update date (as long as that date was before the virus)
your pc wil then go back to how it was at that time.
Has always worked for me

Please download GooredFix from the below link and save it to your Desktop.

Ensure all Firefox windows are closed.
To run the tool, double-click it (XP), or right-click and select Run As Administrator (Vista/Win 7).
When prompted to run the scan, click Yes.
GooredFix will check for infections, and then a log will appear.

I do have an alternative remedy to your problem chunky, it's a bit old fashioned but will hopefully get you through the weekend. Get yourself down to the newsagent, look on the top shelf above the fishing monthly and knitting demon mags, you will see some magazines wrapped in polythene, these are what used to known as ***** mags chunky. Not quite porntube but when needs must

For fucks sake don't take it to a store, once you take into consideration the social stigma, you may as well just burn the fucking thing. You might think you have cleaned all the history but if tere is so much as a trace of your visits to the Glory Glory website ( yes they may have been out of curiosity but who's gonna believe ya), you will be more fucked than the computer, don't risk it chunky.mikeyb772001 wrote:Looks like its a deeper virus mateChunky The Gooner wrote:Wankers!![]()

Chunky
What I have asked you to do is a diagnosis its not in anyway a virus or something that will alter your registry settings for windows or program currently installed. If you want me to help, run the program and I will advise you the best course of action to take. I got only 30 more minutes before going home.

As a one time 'favourite' of this forum would often ask: have you tried switching it off and then switching it on again?

Re: Urgent PC Advice needed please!
Firstly download Malwarebytes and run a full system scan of that. It should help you in getting rid off any malware or adware you might have.Chunky The Gooner wrote:Mods please leave this here for the day then feel free to move it. Ta

Secondly, get rid of your Norton and get a proper antivirus. Norton and Mcafee only get pushed cos it drives bigger profits for stores. There are much better and efficient antivirus' out there. I recommend Kaspersky. You might be able to get a free trial of it and run it to see if it can help solve the problem.
Let me know how it goes.
