Van Persie saga, officially not extending contract.
Re: Van Persie saga, officially not extending contract.
The club have made a statement, City, Utd and Juve have all made bids for RVP, looks like he will have the last say on where he goes.
Re: Van Persie saga, officially not extending contract.
I think we should formally congratulate Arsenal for once again proving that they indeed are the most spineless, pathetic team in the Premiership.
RvP will not be travelling because he is 'short on match fitness'. Do they really think we born yesterday?!
Rooney wanted to leave, he was convinced otherwise. Why couldn't we do the same? Oh, let me guess 'no-one is bigger than the club'.
The only signing we would benefit from this summer is David Dein. Go ahead with your complaints about what he did to the club. But at least he had a backbone.
We without doubt have crumbled since Mr Deins departure.

Rooney was "convinced" otherwise by ManUre doubling the wage they offeredlibertine wrote:I think we should formally congratulate Arsenal for once again proving that they indeed are the most spineless, pathetic team in the Premiership.

rumour was: initial take-it-or-leave-it offer £125k after 'ambition' statement Shrek gets £250k
IMO not keeping RVP is showing backbone

Top 'quality' would be Cavani or Llorente, either of which would never even be considered by AW or Gazidis.LeGinge (Northern Branch) wrote:Only if we replace him with top qualityhighburyJD wrote:Rooney was "convinced" otherwise by ManUre doubling the wage they offeredlibertine wrote:I think we should formally congratulate Arsenal for once again proving that they indeed are the most spineless, pathetic team in the Premiership.

I'm going to find it very difficult to support the team next season in their quest for 4th place, which is what the current board and manager consider success.
Abject failure by missing out on clge money for a prolonged period is the only thing that will rid us of both Wenger and the the board ie Kroenke.
If the club starts to lose money then maybe Kroenke will look to sell, if as we believe, he is only in it for the money.
Our club is dying as regards football is concerned, and I don't really want to be part of the charade anymore.

Re: Van Persie saga, officially not extending contract.
I hate what Wenger and the yanks are doing to my club, it's destroying me. Never have I felt such a disconnect to The Arsenal. It's been my life for 30 odd years but now I just feel drained, death by a thousand paper cuts at the hands of the inept morons running (ruining) our club from the top down. Utterly, utterly depressing

Re: Van Persie saga, officially not extending contract.
Why does it feel a whole lot worse if VP was to go to United?
We stopped being rivals many years ago but as much as it gets up your nose if he goes to City, United would be a whole lot worse?
Not sure why really.

Because 90% of their fans are just plastic bastards that like to mouth off in work on a Monday morning but have never actually been to a game in their life and only started being Manure fans after their success in the mid 90's.SPARKSY wrote:Why does it feel a whole lot worse if VP was to go to United?

I think its too easy to blame AW. Surely not convincing him with ridiculous wages is down to Ivan and silent Stan?
