pedro who?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

pedro who?

Post by brazilianGOONER »

we just offloaded another one, pedro botelho - he joins brazilian side Atlético Paranaense. for those who don't know who the fuck he is, he's a brazilian leftback we loaned out for 5 years in a row.

By all accounts he was meant to be very good. Crazy that we needed a left back so badly last season

What little I saw of him in Spain he was quite good, fast and could tackle but he was playing left midfield not left back.
Five years loan is long enough for the club to make their mind up.

It sounds like he was never getting a work permit, other websites, Eurosport, says this is another loan so still technically at Arsenal.

I remember him playing really well against Barcelona last season.... but this is just a plain ridiculous situation... 5 years on loan... what the fuck is the point of this... It's mismanagement of the highest order, yet, the *word censored* who is still doing this, earning 7.5 million a year, laughing his way to the bank, at our expense, is still there and getting away with it. (He got sacked at Monaco for doing exactly the same thing, but he's still here doing it and getting away with it) :banghead: :banghead:
