It's 'Give Us a Chant' Time Again

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yes it does, you musically illiterate shortarse! :roll: :box: :box: There are six syllables in the second line of the second verse just as there are in the second line of the first verse. The word 'Football' is sung as if two syllables ala 'foot-ball'. The same as the word 'around' is sung 'a-round' in the second line of the first verse. That's how you keep the lyrics moving in sync with the melodic changes. :banghead: :banghead: :roll:

Stick to writing poxy novels and leave the song writing to the experts (who by happy coincidence just happen to be potheads as well!!!!) :evil: :roll: :lol: :lol: :wink:
