pre season games match thread.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

2-0 down and for the first time watching Arsenal I really am not bothered.
if we sell RVP and dont buy in anyone else this is what the season is going to look like.

I actually hope that City go onto score a few more then we might have to buy ( a bit like after the 2-8 last season)

Anyone know why we're still giving Craig Eastmond game time? A never-will-be if ever there was one.

More a case of the club trying to cuddle up to them. City still have the English

Wenger's garden looking decidedly un-rosy.

Can't get the game at work so following proceedings via the live commentary. Does the following sound familiar??? and no douubt a sign of what we have to look forward to :banghead:

86 More nice passing from Arsenal. But they have just four minutes of normal time remaining and are going nowhere.

Where is the commerical gain in getting beat in front of Chinese fans by a team in the same division as us, surely any fans that don't have a PL club or ones that change their teams alot will now like Man City, completley stupid IMO

today was another good reason as to why anyone buying category A games this season is either stupid or a mug.
why would anyone spend £60+ to watch that crap

City (almost) First XI beat Arsenal (mostly) reserves at approx. 6km swimming with ball.

For the team we had out, was a very good performance. Jenkinson though does look a liabilty at right back. Ox looked superb when he came on. Their keeper had a stormer and if we had a striker on the pitch (chamakh is to shit to be included) could of been different.

City scored an offside goal aswell.

Happy with the overall way we played

why does everyone keep saying that was the Arsenal reserves?

that will be pretty much what the team will look like this season.
apart from Koscielny and the 2 new signings, Podolski and Giorud thats it isnt it?

City were playing their reserve team - Pantilimon, Biton, Razak and Savic. Dont recall them playing much in the PL last season
