As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Hope to Christ Ramsey improves but don't hold out much hope I'm afraid. I also don't think Jenkinson is of the required standard either (which is a shame).
Diaby will step up from the treatment table, then promptly break his neck and die.
That's more like it...
Your edit actually made me laugh out loud - comedy gold sir.

I think OX will have a good season but we will be slaughtered in defense again. If Gibbs, Vermaelen, Koschielny, Sagna are injured then the others will be dire.
Wenger has had time to sort this but buys Santos who simply can not defend. As well as Djourou and co

hmm
if Cole, Terry, Cahill and Ivanovic are injured I don't think Betrand, Luiz, Ferreira, Van Aanholt are that great
(no better than Santos, Bartley, Mertesacker, Jenkinson)
and they've spent insane money building that squad

Luiz better than Cahill for me. Cahill is insanely overrated.
whichever of those two you pick - if you offer me our 2nd back 4 v Chelski's for any game next season I'd say yes please
don't see people writing them off though...

Yet it's amazing that when they were losing 2-0 and down to 10 men against Barca with Terry sent off and Cahill injured, and then missing 2 of that four in the Final against Bayern, they still managed to win!!! Our lot capitulate at the merest sign of an opposition attack!! For someone that is obviously intelligent you can really come over as a too naive and rose-tinted sometimes.

didn't know you wasted any time at all
just carp from far far away - its following your team takes the time
as I said if offered Chels 2nd back 4 v Arsenal 2nd back 4 in any game next season I would leap at the chance
Chelski were very solid and very very lucky V Barca and Bayern
well done to them (spits)
every player on the park dropped and defended their hearts out for the whole of both matches
what will Chelski's first XI be next year?
at a guess
Cech
Ivanovic JT Cahill Cole
Mikel Lampard
Ramires Hazard Mata
Torres
maybe even Oscar makes the team,
will he Hazard, Mata and Torres defend like the players they replace?
no way - Abramovitch is back to his AVB idea of entertainment
The grinding out of defensive results is about every player on the pitch working, Drogs was an auxilliary fullback and won dozens of defensive headers FFS

You seem to be suggesting one thing in the first post and then the opposite in the second.

The new Chelski squad is very very different
What's that supposed to mean? Are you saying because ArseofaCrow and IHH don't go, or go now and againl (I'm pretty sure IHH is a season ticket holder btw...) that their views don't count?
... and then you you're putting The Chavs CL win all down to luck?... Hmmm... I know you're a rosetinter mate but I thought you had a bit more about you than that...
you're claiming you invented the question mark and that chestnuts are lazy?
I know you're a miserable cynic but I thought you had more about you than that...
can you see what I did there? retaliatory strawman BS
I responded to crowarse talking about wasting time - I waste a hell of a lot more than he does, by actually going
its a game of opinions, simply dismissing out of hand the opinion of somebody because it differs from yours is the sign of a closed mind
Chelski's cup successes last season were an organisational triumph with a large bit of luck in the mix (often is the luckiest of the good teams that wins a cup - just how it is)
squeeze an extra couple of attacking mids into the side (and they have loads to fit in now that Roman will expect to see play) and you simply can't set out like that
IHH sorry if its not clear - if offered us missing our first choice back 4 and Chels also playing a B defence I would take it
I think Chelski would be weakened more than us
as I said if offered Chels 2nd back 4 v Arsenal 2nd back 4 in any game next season I would leap at the chance....
