Sunderland Calling

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Am in no small amount of pain but despite what The Verve say, the drugs do work 8)

Maybe later in the day I will pm that bastion of medical knowledge (db10) to get some advice - with his inj record he surely must have broken his collar bone sometime in his life
Shite that is bad news! Sorry to hear that mate :(

Had you booked your flight??

Had booked flights and hotel just Thursday  Had to book hotel cos match was early sat morn so was flying late fri night and staying in radisson stanstead. Was considering going over anyway but would be too much hassle with arm in a sling and being squashed in overcrowded tubes esp with Olympics on
What a fucking ladyman.

Never broke a collar bone, but been over to a game with a dislocated shoulder... :-P

Dislocated shoulder? Fecking poof!! That's like comparing suffering a small prick with a needle (no, not BG!! ) to getting sliced up with an axe!!

Alas poor augie, I have had a broken collar bone and it take loads of weeks if not months for the initial recovery, but then you will still get the odd spot of pain for many years after. Ruined any chance I had of lifting a Golf Major/ winning Wimbledon/making the England Cricket team/usurping Phil 'The Power' Taylor/taking over from Ronnie O'Sullivan etc, etc.
