Just been on the official site and noticed much to my amusement that a certain Tomas Rosicky is injured and is a month away from full training, who would have thought it.

Either way, we are prepared an bit better this year to cope with Sahin coming in, Benayoun did a job but he should never have been first team material.

I Actually think benayoun did alright for us. Scored a few nice goals and was tidy on the ball given his limited playing time.

What do you expect Sid, this gutless, fucking ugly *word censored* has got his 2 year contract (yes and he's over 30), can't stand the sight of him, hope he never comes back.

Any injuries in the OG match. A contract at the Club awaits any takers.

If anything I think Benayoun was actually underused last season. Underrated at Liverpool, terrible luck at Chelsea with injuries, granted he was never going to be turning us into title contenders but his experience and quality merited more playing time. I guess it was difficult because we were playing so poorly that we couldn't afford to give him limited match time to nurse him back to match fitness even though we could have done with him.

Benayoun proved he could score and create, would be worth another deal; rather have him in the squad than Arshavin, Chamakh, and Park combined. Especially if Rosicky does not look ready for a return.

Pity last season's loans didn't carry on. It's annoying to see a good player leave and one who couldn't give a toss return.

he always looked liked he tried his best and did give two hoots, which is more than can be said for some.
I would have been happy to have had another season of his endevours.
