BBC are reporting that Van Persie has already signed a contract with Juve ( source of info from FIFA agent.
If it's true it's time to move on and hopefully spend some of the money on one or two more players.

And on the other hand you have Diaby who stands at 6'3" and is about as much use on a football pitch as a hair comb on Augie's head.DB10GOONER wrote:Exactly. Maradona (5'5") and Messi (5'7"), both shortarses but both strong as mules. Wrighty (5'9"), another shortarse but bashed his way through numerous 6 foot plus centre halves week in week out. Nutty was only 5'8". Cesc was only 5'9" as are Scott Parker, Roy Keane and Grannyraper Rooney. Scholes and Tevez are both 5'6", as is Wilshere.

As far as I can see the only thing being reported on the Beeb is THIS: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19086404reading gooner wrote:BBC are reporting that Van Persie has already signed a contract with Juve ( source of info from FIFA agent.

For a small guy he is very strong mate. He is also sometimes used as a defensive midfielder as he is so versatile.Herd wrote:He is 5 foot 6 he will last half a season on the premiership. If he is a genuine utility player however who can and will chase back when we lose the ball instead of skipping like Denilson or just staring like lardshavin then fair enough . I don't know him well as I refuse to watch Spanish soap opera diving which la liga is.
He runs loads and is always tracking back. Trust me he will be a great buy

Its the words 'hopeful' and Malaga's financial position is 'complicated' that worries me. I can hear Wenger on Sept the 1st saying we tried to bring others in but it didnt happen1989 wrote:As far as I can see the only thing being reported on the Beeb is THIS: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19086404reading gooner wrote:BBC are reporting that Van Persie has already signed a contract with Juve ( source of info from FIFA agent.

Signing that guy from Malaga means we can get rid of Ramsey who will never be the same after his Injury. But above all else if Wenger went out and purchased a really good left back and a right back as cover for Sagna then we could start to get excited.
Gibbs and Santos alone will be enough for us to be unable to win a trophy. If you add that Jenkinson as cover for Sagna then the problem doubles.
Really hoping Mertasacker steps up this year because we will not buy another CM.

Cazorla on his way to London. Someone just twitted a picture with him at the airport.
I hope it's not all a dream.
