Re: London 2012 OLYMPICS
I went on Friday and have to say its one of the best sporting events ive ever been to. It did help that i wasnt overly worried about results unlike football but i have to say ive been to hundreds of football matches over the years and the atmosphere in the Olympic park was something ive never experienced before

In all honesty I (perhaps wrongly) expected him to break the World Record again...MegaGooner wrote:Like him or not but Bolt is fucking good. Well done.

Re: London 2012 OLYMPICS
Just e-mailed this to BBC Sport .....
Whilst watching the Show Jumping today, it struck me that what would make it even more exciting would be allow the riders to take on the fences , against the clock, but in whatever order they like, rather than the pre-ordained structure. All the fences would obviously still have to be jumped and there could be lights on each of them which go out to signal that obstacle has been completed. This would add a tactical element to the event, as the riders decide which way around the course would be the quickest. I'm not sure if such a format already exists but if it doesn't, I think it's a way of making Show Jumping even more exciting to both the aficionados and the causal viewer.
Another great idea inspired by natures remedy to boredom.

Was done in 1920, 1924, 1928 and 1932 Olympics and was moved to current style by Hitler who wanted the 1936 Show Jumping to be more organised.I Hate Hleb wrote:Just e-mailed this to BBC Sport .....
