pleased he signed, never seen him play, who knows if he will make it, but we needed a midfielder with craft and guile to replace cesc, hopefully its this guy.

hardly our best summer ever though, unless u have been supoorting the club for the past 6 years only....!

our best player wants out, our gk is average, we have no defensive midfielder worth of the name, and 3 unproven players, who look good, but are unknown quantities in this league.

im optimistic of comfortbaly getting top 4 (nothing more), even more so if sahin, arrives, but still need that DM and a top class new striker if rvp goes. only with the DM can we think beyond the top 4 trophy.

a back up keeper would be nice too.

did u write that off your own back or caopy and paste it from somewhere?

can u tell me where what i have said is incorrect or untrue please?

have u also forgotten our problems of the last 6 years, at the back, not the front. DM is key.

im happy by the signing, but not creaming my pants and getting my nob out about it like some on here. realistically this signing wont make us title contenders, we need to fix the defensive issues, which are down purely, imo, to lack of protection for the back four from that useless lump song.

nice tweet from Cesc too - " i'm glad that my mate Santi is finally a gooner. come onnnn1!"

the kid still loves us clearly.

Trust the playing mantis to put a dampener on all the excitement.

My "Best summer ever" comment was clearly an exaggeration in jest - how could you not see that?

And anyway, it does hold some truth. Whilst it may not be our "Best summer ever" (I haven't lived through the entirety of Arsenal's 125+ history you know), it certainly is our best in a long long time.

Cheer up.

calm down dear, didnt u see the exclamation mark, at the end of my comment...still the henry /suker summer and platt/bergy, overmars, van brockhorst/jeffers/wright (oh how badly that went) even were more exciting for me...

im a realist. sorry. no prospect of that DM will undermine us even if we signed messi, its so simple but we stil wont fix it.

not unhappy with arsenal, beyond that, accepatance and inevetibaility have replaced that.

still fuck me old boots and call me shirly, as i said this move wouldnt happen.
