He'll take 140-150k/week but more importantly he has forced the board to spend on players.

He did nothing wrong and I don't blame him for saying what he said...we all thought its well. I won't boo, slag him off or knock him. He is STILL our player and as long as he shows his desire then I have no issue. If he walks away on a free then so be it.

Because RVP spoke out and criticised their idol... that's why, perhaps the message has finally got across to Wenger as surely he wouldn't have made these signings without the message, I just hope that RVP now says to him now get a back-up keeper, a left back and a decent DM then this transfer window can be deemed as pretty good one.

RVP's Statement was self serving, no more, no less.

I would not blame any player for leaving but imo what he did was wrong. He criticised the manager and the club in the statement, I believe, to get himself a lucrative pay day.

I believe Wenger's forays into the transfer market buying more mature players of proven quality is more influenced by us finishing 18 points behind last year and 7 years without a trophy as opposed to reacting to RVP's statement.

I still hope he stays.

Hmm, be interesting to see if there's pics from todays training and he's there. I would have thought his agent would do 99% of the deal. If he's gone to see them then it's close.

Agree with most of you on here though, he has to go after what he said and how he said it. 1 good season in 8 after we stood by him all that time. I would have thought Wenger felt gutted with his statement.

Disrespectful prick. It may be what us fans have thought for a long time, but for our captain to publicise it like he did? Naa, he's done for me.
