outside the first eleven we look fragile at the back and DM.

saying that, United have done nothing (if they don't get RvP) and i'm not impressed with Chelsea pre-season aside from Oscar, so if we are lucky I think we could get 2nd.

Just reading Ol Red Nose comments about losing out on Moura

"That's where, hopefully, UEFA can have some power. When somebody's paying E 45million for a 19-year-old boy you have to say the game's gone mad."

But it's ok to spend £26.5 Million on an 18 year old 8 Years Ago

Where do you think he will fit into the team BG ?
Do you think he will have an impact this season or is it just potential they are buying ?

I agree with this. Looking at it and comparing squads it does look good but take RVP out we would be relying on Giroud and Pod hitting the ground running which is a big ask.
Would still like strengthening at left full and replace Song with Sahin/M'Vila.
A GK would be nice too. We're fucked should Szczesny be out for any length of time.

Defo...........I don't think we are finished in the Transfer market yet 1989.

I'm going to put my tin hat on for this, but I think Fabianski is a solid back-up keeper. Not great if WS got injured for a lengthy period, but LF has some talent to offer and I think he's remembered more for his poorer form early in his career rather than his decent form up to the point he got injured (when WS took over).

He is right though, £35,000,000 on a 19-year-old IS stupid money.

I mean not only 4-5 years ago, the all-time EPL transfer record (the world's richest and most popular league) was about 30-32m GBP. Now most transfers are smashing that on a regular basis, even for unproven talent.

World football is just becoming a toy for rich oil magnates.

Yeah I think he is right too as there are ordinary players going for unbelievable prices.
I just find it ironic that he is slagging off PSG for spending 45 million Euros on a 19 year old when he himself spent 26.5 million sterling for an 18 year old 8 years ago, which equates in today's figures.
And as usual the media are afraid to point this out because its ol red nose and are afraid of the consequences.

He is complaining about Arsenals stance on RVP and him not understanding it, yet it was he himself that refused to sell Heinze to Liverpool. Usual shite from red nose imo.

As for Flappy I hope your confidence is well placed.
I think they both, Flappy and Szezsny, could do with some experienced competition to keep them on their toes.

Flappy isn't good for backup... he is a shit, pudding basin haircutted wanker and needs to go, with our injury record our backups play more than normal 'backups' do anyway... we desperately need an experienced number 2.

Mancini not happy at all with Marwood. Maybe FPP is kicking in
Comm Shield on Sunday and still has not bought anyone.

Asked yesterday about City’s progress in the transfer market, Mancini said: ‘I know that for you these questions are more important than the match but for this you should talk to Brian Marwood, not with me. I don’t want to talk about the market. Talk with Marwood please.
‘My talk today is for the game against Chelsea. That is more important. I’m not sporting director, I can’t say anything regarding players.’
