New captain? Vermaelen to leave?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Let's give the armband to Squillachi-every captain we've had recently ends up moving on pretty quickly...

I like that idea! :D We could give it to each player that we want to get rid of for a game....first Squillaci, then Park, then Bendnter, then Chamakh, the Djorou and then Arshavin....the masterplan is complete! :barscarf:

So I reiterate what I said on the previous page, Wenger was a fucking disgrace giving RVP the armband in last Sunday's friendly in Cologne, he said yesterday he has already signed his replacement and also gave him game time too, knowing that RVP was on his way, the 'man' has no shame.

As for who gets the captaincy now, I don't giving a flying fuck, but that'll just match the same attitude as the arsehole that is Wenger.

Frank, it's going to be Thomas Vermaelen, according to the Guardian. So, that'll be him sold in a year then.

TV5's decline is alarming! Another mistake strewn game today and is now vying with Djourou and Squillachi in the shit stakes, what the fuck has happened to him? Surely another example of our brilliant coaching system... :roll: :roll:
