Re: Arsenal v Sunderland match thread
I was most scared of Larsson - who has been shite and nearly given us two chances
and disappointed in Gervinho's selection - he (with Cazorla) has prob been our best player
flat, slow, dull game - perfect MoN fodder

Pretty much as I expected. Sunderland don't want to know and we're too shit to do anything about it. It's gonna be one long season.

Great to see Cazorla looking fucked off as he went off at half time, shows that he wants thr team to do better as well as himself unlike other
's like Vela who walked off the pitch with a beaming smile after missing a sitter or three.

Re: Arsenal v Sunderland match thread
that was...ok
typical start of season game really, been convinced enough that if we get an early one in 2nd half we will beat them 2-3 nil.
HOWEVER they are toothless in attack so if they score it will be down to one of ours fucking up
come on arsenal!!

The tempo is so slow. We need to move the tempo up a few notches. ATM our setting must be 4. We need to move it to atleast 8 imo.

I thought the Mackems defended well, dont see them as relegation fodder
an actual VERY poor Sunderland team is that Mcarthy one that went down with -10 points afte letting in a bazillion goals and not scoring all season (roughly)

Thought we created a few decent chances there, what was everyone expecting? 3 big players out injured and 2 new signings thrown in. I fancy santi to grab a goal in the 2nd half

Stoke away is a very different game, I think you're rightArsenal Till I Die wrote:Giroud has to start the next game, surely.
not sure what I'd changed today personnelwise
obv as has been mentioned we need to play a lot quicker
Re: Arsenal v Sunderland match thread
Santi MOTM in the first half. This has all the hallmarks of us dominating possession and falling to a late goal. Larsson Free kick in the 85th minute?

Santi has started well, hes a great player it's what I expected
Gervinho has been just as good IMO which is a total surprise
no changes for the 2nd half
COME ON ARSENAL!!
we have to score first

Arsenal continue to suffer from lack of coaching and tactics.
