Thought he was "Dozy" from day one - had some good moves , but he needed someone like fergie to frighten the shyte out of him to get him going...

as DB says he'll do well in a team of excellent players , with the pace slower than in the prem...and his size will come in handy at barcawhores.

As long as we bring in someone with a bit of bite and the ability to stay 'switched on'.

So if it's in the Mirror it's true  The fact is, in his time at Arsenal, Song, no matter what you think of his footballing ability, has never said a word out of turn in the press nor anywhere else as far as I'm aware.
If there was any acrimony in his move, I would suggest it was because he didn't necessarily want to leave, but when it was made clear he was surplus to requirements he might, looking around him at some of the shite considered to be part of Arsene's masterplan. been a tad pissed off.

well done Alex Song - a world class talent recognised by Barcelona although sadly not by most of the posters on here.
Good luck for the future. You will probably win loads of trophies now you have escaped from here.

How is selling the double Footballer of the Year a smart move?!
You for real? He was the only world class player there and scored 40% of our goals.
Where's the new left back? Why does it matter that Djourou had a clause: why is it there in the first place!!!
Why has Gervinho not been taught to cross a ball?
Why has Wenger retained Diaby? Why has he come out and said Diaby will be a "big player" this season?
Wenger has changed nothing, in fact he's weakened Arsenal again.

I'll have a wager with you that Arsrnal league defeats hit double figure again this season.
If Arsene is ringing the changes as you claim, then you'd take that bet...

But we are in profit again! Yeah Arsene changin...

He's retained Diaby for the same reason he retained van persie 3 years ago when most would have given up, I imagine 3 years ago you were the same about him while you pull your tampax out now that he's gone, he's the manager, if he thinks he's good then he's going to give him every opportunity to succeed.

You do know how the contract system works right? He's not just gonna tear up their contracts and say goodbye, that may work on football manager which I'm sure you're ace at but it don't work like that in the real world.

How much? This team will piss all over the bottlers we've had in the last few years, he's shifting out the gutless ones slowly but surely and putting in players who appear to have more of a backbone about them, like him or not but this is what we've all been asking for.

Over the last few year Almunia, Eboue, Clichy, Denilson, Vela, Song, Gallas, Senderos, Nasri, Adebayor, all players that for one reason or another didn't cut it or messed up while being very much part of the first team plans, he's clearly given up on Chamakh, Squillaci, Djourou, Bendtner and Arshavin and will get rid of them if anyone is dumb enough to take them, that is a sign that he has admitted defeated with the team he built after in the Invincibles and signs are he's building another one which like it or not we should all be pleased about.

van Persie getting sold is out of everyones hands, if he don't want to stay and wants to triple his wages then there's nothing anyone can do about it but get the best price but van persie also needs to take a long hard look at himself as the main man in a failed team, he needs to accept his share of the responsibility.

Do you and Shabaraba work in shifts ?

Song was decent, but to call him a World class talent tells me you've started on the sauce a bit early in the day. That's almost as bad as your Walnutt is our only world class player remark in your silly thread that the mods had the sense to lock before it got ugly.

Is Monday morning not a bit early in the week for your WUMing b*****ks

Just block him and stop quoting him while you're at it as those that have blocked him still see his dumb arse posts.

diaby and rvp situations are not the same re patience with injuries at all. rvp has always shown flashes of brilliance, and when not injured had done a good job and showed a lot of talent. diaby simply has not. he did in his first few games, then broke his ankle, and has shown very little but braindead holding on to the ball too long, missplaced passing football since.

the 2 are simply not comparable situations. we all knew rvp had the talent. despite the injuries. we all know diaby doesnt (probably because of the injuries)

In your opinion off course but not the managers.

It is my view that he is persisting with him because he thinks he has something about him.

I don't think that he will make it but I can see that the manager feels otherwise which is why he's not writing him off same as he never with van persie when I was 18 months ago.

18 months ago I wanted him sold and someone to come in as first choice that could give us 30+ league games a season, even now I'm not bothered that he's gone but am more bothered at the way he's gone.

It's quite possible that he would have reverted to type this year and we would have had Chamakh leading the line all season because I'm guessing that if Wenger thought van Persie was staying then there would be not Podolski or there would be no Giroud, it's one of the reasons why this club has done so badly in recent years.

So your dislike of Cesc comes from where then Sid ? I already pointed out to you that Cesc was a model pro, played for us with a broken leg and never said a bad word about us in the press so how is that any different from your "model pro" ? The difference is, as I suggested before, that Cesc actually delivered on the pitch on a regular basis unlike the arrogant lazy Cameroon c**t
