Not sure really, puzzling given Fergie's comments about how good his attacking options are and not mentioning Berbatov. You have to imagine that if Hernandez was on the bench he would have been brought on and frankly would have suited United's approach of tossing hopefully balls into the box far better than any of their other strikers. Not having to read the halfwits boring s***e anymore is making life so much more enjoyable.
Editted some of the crap written in this as twas written after a few too many alcoholic sherberts last night. Still think Shabaraba is a lady garden but no call for stereotyping insults.

Re: The weekend's other games
Can you just be quiet mate, it really is getting tiresome. Football is all about banter, we used to laugh at Spurs during our successful years. It is always nice seeing teams you dislike faltering even when we were winning cups for fun.Babatunde wrote:Who remembers Spuds gloating cos Nayim's scored a goal from the half way line, in a match they weren't actually involved in?
Well that's like the small-time gloating I'm reading here. What's the party atmosphere about? Did Arsenal win a game? Nope. Was RVP proven wrong by Arsenal beating Manure? Neither. Have we won a trophy yet? Hah!
Nah. Arsenal fans relying on Moyes to do the job Wenger is incapable if doing. So Moyes, in charge of a club desperately short of money, beats Manure. No bulkshit excuses about resources, injuries etc.
Arsenal get beat 8-2.
But Everton won tonight. So our small time fans are abusing RVP. On the weekend Arsenal couldn't beat wee Sunderland. At home.
Pathetic doesn't even begin to describe what a small time provincial club Arsenal has now become...

Not to mention one of my favourite ever games not involving Arsenal was Spurs going 3-0 up against Man City only to lose 4-3 in the cup and that happened during our unbeaten season.

Don't worry, it's 3-0, Joey Barton's been sent off and Jon Macken is absolute shite, what could possibly go wrong? This Is The Daybreak wrote:Not to mention one of my favourite ever games not involving Arsenal was Spurs going 3-0 up against Man City only to lose 4-3 in the cup and that happened during our unbeaten season.

Re: The weekend's other games
After last night's game we were reminded that United had to play a (poor) midfielder in central defence due to injuries. So there was a genuine reason for them losing. Not making excuses but last season Arsenal defenders missed a combined total of over 24 months through injury, playing something like 19 combinations as a result. Every pre-season the pundits ram the strength of United's squad down our throat , yet the same media excuse their bad days by pointing to who they are missing.
Everton exposed United's midfield, they went for United from the start and United couldn't cope. The lack of strength in midfield for United is highlighted by the fact their main player is nearing 40 and retired the season before last. The genuine United fans wanted that addressed in the close season but Sir Fergie wanted to prove to the City and the World that United could get a marquee signing that City were after.
The real winners last night were Liverpool. Rodgers has got them on a level footing with United.

That Fellaini guy looked nothing like the Fellaini who's a mug and not good enough for Arsenal.
Are there two of them?

To think some people would be having a hernia on here if we gave up a lead so pathetically.mcdowell42 wrote:reading beating chavs 2-1
