Alternative uses for Old Van Persie Shirts

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Alternative uses for Old Van Persie Shirts

Post by TrueGunner33 »

Being absolutely crushed by Van Persie leaving our beloved Gunners I decided to put a little video together about ways we can use our old Van Persie Shirts. I know it wont be everybody's cup of tea and I apologize, but it's the only way I can deal with it.

Put it in the attic along with your Vieira, Henry, Cesc and Nasri shirts, and quite soon you will have a full squad.

I must admit I did have a bit of time on my hands today :-) I was just so disappointed with him leaving, after all he said, that I just didn't think his shirt deserved to be put in the attic...besides I don't have an attic.

Thanks for the comments.

I think it's pretty good. I love how you gently remove our badge before hand. It made me and my fella laugh anyway :barscarf:

Its still and Arsenal sirt though even if you take the badge off :( Personally id find a way to peel the letters and numbers off and burn them, you then still have a perfectly useful shirt :barscarf:

Unfortunately there's no way you can remove the letters and numbers.

However, I just washed my home kit and the Emirates letters are already starting to get loose (only washed it a few times). Cheap Nike crap. :banghead:

Didnt that happen with the 06 kit too, something wrong with how they were made. Pretty sure the club had to replace them with new ones.

The moral of the story is, do not put a player's name on the back of your shirt.
Put something witty or your own name or leave it blank.
