What would it matter if on loan? He's top draw, even if we have him for a year he'll be a huge plus.

And Sid Wenger also said he wanted to bring in two more players. People have been saying our business is finished since Podolski.

The problem for me with the loan thing is its what little clubs do from big clubs. Now i know historically Madrid are bigger than us but it sticks in my throat a bit that we are developing their players for their own use in years to come :? Ive come to think of us as a big club but obviously not

Personally id only loan with a right to buy at the end

I see your point, but in a season where jarvis, fletcher and allen are going at the prices they are i would be content with the 1 yr loan...obviously everyone would want the option to buy at the end but i bet the tossers @ madrid know that he's a quality player so don't want to lose out if he plays well.

Sahin isnt a done deal. For starters he is in madrid training today.

Mourinho just held press confrence and claimed he wants him to go the prem, and said there had been some interest.

No done deal at all

Develop him? He's been developed already, he just hasn't settled in Madrid. I would say the deal for a signing option snagged on price, and also Jose trying to get one over Wenger as well. Its well reported that he tried to get him to Pool rather than us.

Shit, Iv'e been found out :-P

Wenger is only doing what Ferguson has been doing for years, cashing in on players who at the end of the day won us :cussing: all and is trying to build a new team. I have to say I'm all for it, only time will tell if he succeeds or not.

I heard an interview the other day in which they said Sahin doesnt have the hunger and workrate for a Mourinho team so he wants to send him to England for a year to toughen him up before resuming again next season in Madrid. Now i dont know how you put it but thats development to me

And what better place to develop, improve workrate and foster hunger, than at trophy hungry Arsenal.

It will toughen him up at least and after spending a season with the 'average generation' might even make him count his lucky stars he's with Madrid

As a free option with prem experience, I would go for Huddleston! Been told he can leave spurs!

Quick...before it gets shot down!

Would anyone else take a cheeky punt with Michael Dawson? The heathens are selling for around the 9mil mark.

Yes on Dawson. No on Huddleston.
