McDowell its over dude...no more - Hallelujah

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We needed devine help years ago but not even Jesus can save us now :banghead:
On a more serious note though, wasn't he the guy that got home-sick after less than a week away from home? and wasn't he a teenager or going on 20/21....FFS which person at that age don't want to be away from home. :banghead:

Anyway..good player....it won't happen....and if it does, it might just be another Reyes story :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

That had only limited success, due to the OG's high jay population.

Yes he was that guy - the story was that he didn't want to do international football for that reason but that must have changed since cos he is a regular part of Spain's squad these days - anyway hasn't Haines suffered that was and a lot more recently too but it hasn't stopped him from being a left full that we would all love to see sign for us.

I might be wrong but my understanding is that navas is a gypsy and he certainly looks a lot more like a gypsy than Reyes did and I remember the stick he got over it. I am not advocating not buying him if he is a gypsy but are merely comparing it to the Reyes situation. Anyway there is no way that the guy would come to us and I am no longer confident we could get rid of Wally either, at least not for decent money

Hold on. Are you fucking serious? Sahin might be joining Liverpool?
Wenger has spent the past 2 weeks haggling over a £14 mil buy-on clause that he allegedly wanted reduced to £11 million? Despite Arsenal being £8 mil in profit without even touching its transfer facility yet? Could this manager and club be anymore of a joke if this is the case?? Aclub that cannot offer CL football is likely to beat Arsenal with our show-off claims of '15 years in the CL' to Sahin?
I cannot fucking believe this is the case. Surely, surely, Sahin isn't going there. Not after all the sell-offs of our best players, not after all the Wenger lies, not after all the cash the club rakes in from gormless punters. He will join Arsenal. Piresistible and 1989 said it's happening and I believe them.

Apparently its about the buy out clause. Real Madrid only want a loan we want to be able to buy after a season. The victims are offering a loan only so he has more chance of ending up there. If this is the case id be happy to let him go as i want us to buy him not loan players like Palace borrow players from us
