Don't know if has been posted elsewhere, and I can't be arsed to look, interesting though.
Players who have quit Arsenal over the last seven years have amassed 44 winners' medals between them at 11 different clubs, while those who stayed at the Emirates have empty trophy cabinets.

Wenger has spent the past 2 weeks haggling over a £14 mil buy-on clause that he allegedly wanted reduced to £11 million? Aclub that cannot offer CL football is likely to beat Arsenal with our show-off claims of '15 years in the CL' to Sahin?
I cannot fucking believe this is the case. Surely, surely, Sahin isn't going there. Not after all the sell-offs of our best players, not after all the Wenger lies, not after all the cash the club rakes in from gormless punters. He will join Arsenal. Piresistible and 1989 said it's happening and I believe them.
If this happens then your rant will be justified

Being reported in Marca and various Madrid outlets that Sahin wants to join Arsenal. The issue is Mourinho wants Arsenal to trigger an automatic buy-clause of 16 million Euros (or 14 million quid) once he plays something like 25 games for us.
Arsenal and Wenger more specifically apparently, want that reduced to £11 mil since Sahin is surplus to requirements there. Besides. Are you telling me Wenger is now turning down players because he wants options to BUY the player?

Sounds very un-Wenger like to me! I like you would rather we had the option to buy.
What you don't get Flash though is, that if this transfer falls through, it's a season of Diaby/Frimpong/Coquelin who are all each to a man, absolute shite.

I know the consequences of not buying Sahin and who do you believe the pro Madrid media or our media over here??? but for me there is a matter of principle (whether its the same for Wenger no one knows) i personally would never loan a player to develop them and help the future advancement of another club so if this is what Madrid want id tell them to fuck off tooBabatunde wrote:Flahs that ain't what is being reported in Spain though.flash gunner wrote:Apparently its about the buy out clause. Then just wait and I bet thet within one week of the window closing, the club will tell us that Willshire has had another setback.
They, and Wenger in particular are shower of lying bastards.
Re: McDowell! Not McDonald! Rumours r mine, burgers r Ronald
I said the other night that if there was no buy out clause then I wouldnt want to loan a player although the thoughts of playing diaby for the season fills me with fear
That being said, madrid bought the guy for 8m, hardly played him and now want to offload him for almost a 100% profit mark up ??
They are taking the piss royally but for me the player should be a bit more forceful in this situation IF he wants to join us. Fact is that if this falls through then it will be yet another example of wenger and our negotiating crew ballsing up on a nailed on transfer deal and it does suggest that there could be another fan backlash if we dont get a quality midfielder in

Do the names of Nasri, Clchy, Anelka, Van Persie, Song, Flamini etc mean anything??

Even with Cazorla now I am fully expectinhhim to move to Citeh within a year. If he turns out good Citeh or Manure will pinch him because that is what this club does. It develops players for the big boys. Don't deny it please! So you don't seem to have a problem with it otherwise so where's the problem now?

Who's denying it Baba? and i have a massive problem with us being a selling club so please don't try to label me with incorrect assumptions. The point i was making is when you loan a player (like the lower league teams do for us) is to directly enhance their future with no end product for the loanee club not even an eventual transfer fee which is the only thing to come out of us selling the list you wrote (and the FACT that it isnt spent or spent incorrectly is another matter)Babatunde wrote:But hold on Flash so you're against us taking players, developing them, andhanding them of to big clubs?

Do you know that one thing that has shone through this is the startling arrogance of Wenger and Gazidis. They were apparently so confident of Sahin joining them that they started taking the mickey. The club seem to be bankign on Sahin forcing the move through, the same thing our fans get uppety about when Barca do it to our players...

Also Augie how are Real taking the piss? We bought Lass Diarra for £2.5 mil, never played him, then sold him to Pompey for £6 mil! That's more than a 150% markup! (great business Arsene when Pompey then sold him for £20 mil LOL)
It's as you say if it fails to go through, more evidence of Wenger and Gazidis' breathtaking incompetence.
I am telling you again and I said it before that for me, this transfer window is every bit as bad and useless as last summer's.
A good transfer window for Arsenal in my view is one where by the time the season kicks off I look at the squad and think: this team can fight for the league.
This current Arsenal squad has no chace. Zero.
The sale of RVP will forever go down as a dark disgusting day for the club, the day Wenger displayed he is of no moral scruples and cares just for cash. And yet RVP cops all the flack...

We have NO DCM in a team that cannot retian possession and leaked 50 goals last season.
Yes Song is crap. But Diaby is far far worse. The same defence that leaked 50 goals last year is unaddressed.
Chesney's pathetic goalkeeping will remain without any competition - then ppl wonder why Alex Song and Ches are such loudmouths when they've won nothing: it's Wenger's fault. He takes these mugs and gives them no competition.
Arsenal for my money, are even weaker than they were last year.
ATTACK: Weaker
Midfield: More creativity with Cazorla but even less protection now we have no DCM
Defence: same.
