As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Maybe the board are putting pressure on Wenger to offload a number of bench warmers in order to get the wage bill down before he can even think of bringing even one more player in. I would be glad to see a number of fringe players out the door with Denilson a prime example.
Rather than punting players out on loan just get shot of them, thats if anybody wants them
Just spotted Goetze on Blackstock Road. He was wearing an Algerian football shirt, tracksuit bottoms, drinking a cup of coffee and standing around talking to his mates in Arabic outside a shop. At least I think it was him, I might be mistaken.

then I can only conclude that the guy who scored the winner for Dortmund tonight was an impostor, so as not to upset the Dortmund fans regarding the impending sale of one of their star players.

Goetze + Arsenal = ON.
What? You mean Dortmund aren't looking to cash in on their star player? That's no way to run a football club!!!
I know that it is wishful thinking on my behalf, but I would have thought that if you were cocky and arrogant enough to believe that you should be one of the top earners at the club (despite producing f**k all ) as walnut clearly does, then would you not look around at the exodus of top players and think to yourself that it is pointless staying with this club ? As I say I am willing to accept any reason that see's this over-hyped brainless clown removed from our club
Dont know how many of you read the above article but I found this quote a bit odd -
“Negotiations continue, at the moment not directly with me, but we try to sort it out, and we will try to sort it out one way or the other."
Is this wenger trying to remove himself from this situation so that he can appear blameless if negotiations break down ? Is he trying to avoid any fall out if this goes tits up ? Everybody knows that nothing goes on in the club and nothing is decided without wenger's approval so why would he make a point of suggesting to people that he isnt involved ?

Not disagreeing with that line of thought at all and 100% agree with you - you have to think that the clubs willingness to give him a big new contract could stem more from fear of a fan backlash if they allow another "star" ( ) player to leave and you can bet your life that feo and his agent will be using that to squeeze every last penny from the club
Btw I don't rate Adam Johnson tbh - don't get me wrong he is a good player but I think he is another player where arrogance seems to have set in and when I have seen him play I often thinks that he plays for himself more than for his team
Btw Arsenal target biglia from anderlecht is close to finalise a loan move to Norwich - that is his level and it horrified me that we were linked to this guy in the first place
