Gervinho and Diaby wasteful as expected.
Rest playing ok but with Diaby setting the pace we are playing into Stoke's hands by slowing down the game for them

Same as last week. Tappy tappy passy passy at walking pace and looking as likely to score a goal as I am to banging Cheryl Cole :banghead:

I must be watching a different game to everyone else. While we haven't exactly been breath takingingly good, I think that we were pretty dominant in that half. Stoke came back in to it in the last 10 minutes but I thought our passing was good but we just ran out of ideas as we reached the final third (no changes there, right?)

I thought defensively we've been very good - Gibbs has really stood out for me. He had a great half. In fact, I was really pleased with the left wing in general. Podolski's looked sharp and he hasn't taken any shit from the Stoke players, either.

Of the new boys, obviously Cazrola's really stood out. You just get the feeling that, as long as you get the ball to him, everything is going to be alright. Not ready to write Giroud off just yet, unlike some others on here, but he was poor in that half. Possibly a little isolated but when he's had the ball he hasn't done an awful lot with it.

In general, I'm happy that we're not being bullied like we have in previous years. If we can avoid their wumming ways, I think we can win this game.

Come on Arsenal!

Agreed. Absolute farce we haven't a single striker on the bench.

Agreed, we are taking the sting out of their game, all we need is a goal and its job done.

Yep, every time I see him I say to myself "Wow, he really plays for us?!" Give it a year or two, once again Arsenal is just a stepping stone to Barcelona.

It just makes me fucking despair. I've seen this game a hundred times and still nobody, Wenger or the board, is doing anything about it :(

Yeah I pretty much agree with TS. I thought we were good without creating too much but would hope for more from Gervinho and Diaby in the 2nd half.
Probably asking too much :(

Our right wing - specifically the combination of Jenkinson and Gervinho - is embarrassingly bad.

I know he has his faults, but wouldn't Walcott add a bit of pace and worry their lumbering defence? Gervinho is just lazy, half-arsed and always takes too many touches and delivers the wrong ball (bit like Walcott, actually!! But at least he might get in behind them). Otherwise you just get the feeling Crouch is gonna win one header and they'll score a scummy goal as usual. It is just so frustrating to watch. Same old, same old, every week! Oh, and Tony Pulis is a dick.
