THE WENGER THREAD
Re: Arsene Wenger points of view
It seems like AW has gone back to his delusional/bare face lying state of mind in a recent comment.
"Arteta can play deeper - the kind of Pirlo role - and we have Diaby who is a very strong defensive player.
"We have Coquelin who is also doing very well. I've played many games with Diaby and Wilshere [in midfield] and they were very efficient."
Arteta is NOWEHERE near as good as Pirlo in the deeper role, Coquelin as literally no prem experience, Diaby is pants and has a glass ankle, and Wilshere will take over a season to regain his form!
Why does Wenger put us through this? Why can't he just admit that the board won't release funds to invest??
I was almost excited for our future when we invested in Santi, Podolski and Giroud, but quickly come to realise we would definitely flog some key players to get back in the black. So it's definitely more of a 're'-investment.
Losing out on a bid to bring a player as good as Sahin to the scoucers is a further indication on how weak our transfer negotiations are. People can blame Rogers relationship with Mourinho. But if we wanted him, we could have got him. Oh, wait, we have Ramsey.
It's a sorry time for a fragile Arsenal. But at least our bank balance is healthy, which is what ALL supporters want in a club, not trophies...

Anybody noticed the *word censored* is wearing glasses again. Hasn't wore glasses for years. Must've had laser eye surgery and its worn off.
Maybe we'll start winning again.

Truth is, the price of disposable contact lenses has gone up by 15p and Wenger being the tight arse he is refuses to pay it so has dusted down his trusty bottle bottoms! Doesn't matter what he sees on the pitch anyway, he could manage Arsenal from a locked, darkened room, nothing ever changes!!

I was brought up told that you shouldn't punch / kick someone in the face who was wearing glasses.

"WE LACK SOME OIL"????
No Arsene, what we lack is our new players not having played together enough in pre-season for them to form an understanding! Cologne was the only game they played together you thick twat!
We are now playing competitive games in which our players are doing what all the other teams do in pre-season!
He gives the impression that no stone is unturned in preparation and being meticulous in everything he does when the opposite is actually the truth!
Amateur management of a proffessional team!

Moved to Wenger thread
Re: Arsene Wenger points of view
So Wenger says we are looking for a defensive midfielder........De Jong, a Dutch international and M'Vila, a french international are both available, for not a lot of money in the grand scheme of things, and he still doesn't make a move.
'Lying toe rag' are the words that come to mind. I fail to understand how anyone can defend him I really do. Wenger and Arsenal have less ambition than Sunderland and Fulham.

Agreed!
"We are looking to bring one more midfielder in of course, and maybe one defender as well because we still feel we are short in some positions," August 21st 2012
