Am so glad you put a "like" in that statement. As for one minute I honestly thought I had read an Arsenal fan championing the potential of Darren Bentaugie wrote:rigsby wrote:Alot of talk about us in for Dzeko, can't see this at all
If we were targeting a striker then buying dzeko, who is quite similar to Giroud, would make no sense and surely we would be better off looking to buy someone like Darren bent who would add pace with regular goals
McDowell its over dude...no more - Hallelujah

He scores goals at the expense of others in the team. Bent is a good striker for a shit side because you can gear your system towards him and he will probably score 20 league goals but miss 3 or 4 good chances every game. No other striker would be able to score that many for a team fighting relegation but equally a good side can't afford to have a player who soaks up that many chances.BournemouthRED wrote:richpye wrote:Am so glad you put a "like" in that statement. Van persie missed the most clear cut chances in the prem last year!northbank123 wrote:He scores goals at the expense of others in the team. Sahins just done his first interview at Liverpool, seems like a decent guy shame we didn't get him, bet he has a great season for em

We don't need Sahin. We have Diaby.BournemouthRED wrote:Sahins just done his first interview at Liverpool, seems like a decent guy shame we didn't get him, bet he has a great season for em
We don't buy superstars. We make them.*

Looks like we are not even concretely linked to any one. We probably sign some unknown who ends up like park.

But all the bloggers on twitter are sure we're working on a multitude of deals!Rohan wrote:Looks like we are not even concretely linked to any one. We probably sign some unknown who ends up like park.
I'm still hopefull of a signing or two, and getting rid of some deadwood too!

Spuds in talks with Fulham for Dembele. £15 mil release clause, on a salary less than half of Diabolical Diaby, and a far superior midfielder to anyone on the Arsenal books at present, a guy who goes to Old Trafford and is head and shoulders above the rest...
Have we made a bid? He would sign for us in a heartbeat.
Arsene Knows....pfffft...

Tootsies have also had a bid accepted for Willian.
Prolly go for Drogba at Chinese outfit which is in trouble.
Then M'Vila and Lloris. Hey presto. Not rocket science Aesene.
