Manure v Arsenal at Anfield

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Manure v Arsenal at Anfield

Post by Chippy »

Lovely little article in the Grauniad today. Before you look at the article, do you know when it was.

It happened in my time but even when I read the article I didn't remember it at all. Were any of the old farts on here there?

I'm here but I really dont remember it ,my first visit to anfailed was in 1973,and we won 2-0 with Ball scoring from a penalty and Radford scoring the 2nd !

I remember UTD playing at Plymouth and I remember the Stretford end being altered to avoid missiles landing in the goal mouth but never this match.
