He's going to be sold to Liverpool tomorrow. They will sell Carroll and come in with an offer that Wenger 'can't' refuse.
The final nail in the coffin came today when Wenger said that 'Theo loves Arsenal'.........Wenger said that just before selling Cesc and Nasri

We really do have Mr Bean in charge of our club, he does not have a clue.

But I do think Walcott can ask to play up front, and has every right to do so.
In the same way that senior players have a duty to tell the boss if they feel a certain strategy or tactic is not working.
very true

Clough said he would listen to anything his players suggested, then ignore the suggestions.

But the great Herbert Chapman famously listened to his players after we lost to Newcastle, with Charlie Buchan instrumental in suggesting we adopt the WM formation to deal with changes in the offside law...and the rest is history.

Charlie nick and merse were quite critical of walnut on sky this morning - neither felt that he has improved enough to get near 100k per week and neither feel that he should be in the first 11.

Wouldn't it be nice if AW considered Drogba? Theo could be gone by January let alone May. Yeah. It is pretty embarrassing to let too many players go out all at the same time. Hence keeping Theo around.

Don't normally take too much notice of pundits because 95% of the time they're full of shit. Take Redknapp, started slaughtering the team after Stoke game then when Neville presented it from a different perspective then and before the game today he was harping on about how solid we looked and the goals would inevitably come.

That said, it's nice when pundits can recognise what some players are really like. Too many would say that Walcott is a player any side would be lucky to have and trot out the old "on his day" line, whereas these two seem to notice how he consistently fails to deliver. Might be because they actually watch Arsenal a bit, to be fair to Merson although he's a figure of fun he actually says some spot-on stuff about AFC, doesn't dodge bullets.

Jeff Sterling on Saturday morning looked horrified when both Merse and Charlie (rightly) said they wouldn’t have Walcott in the current Arsenal starting 11.

He looked really shocked and this is indicative of the Theo media myth. Most of them cannot see how average he is and how very inconsistent he is. They see one or two great goals a season and that’s all they see, so Theo is a genius! The same pundits told us how we would desperately miss Song's "quality" and "decisive passes" more than anything this season! :coffeespit:

They are much like alot of our JCL’s and AKB’s. Blinkered to high fuck!

I will not shed a single tear if this bloke leaves in January

Well, the only tears I would shed would be more to do with the pathetic mismanagement by the club at allowing yet another player to get into this contract mess, rather than any love for the player. I hate the fucking Spuds and to an extent I agree with the likes of Herd when he says "I don't care what those fuckers do", but at least when Modric left it was with years in place on his contract and at a decent price. They have Bale signed up long term and over the last week or so have done likewise with Lennon and Defoe. Neither has won anything there (unless you count the Beer Cup) - they are international players and both have had to put up with being rotated in and out of the team. But still somehow the club manages to get them signed up, so if they do end up going they will get a decent fee.

How the fuck have we allowed Walcott to do this? A guy who plenty of fools out there would still pay £15m plus for and we'll end up getting half ot that if lucky. What a joke Gazidis and Law are.

The problem with pundits is that they're lazy. Most of them are couldn't-give-a-fuck-anymore 80's figures who are just trying to earn the few bob that they missed out on pre-sky. You get the impression they do little to no extra research on the players and teams they are paid to judge. They just watch motd with the rest of us and pick up a few names who are flavours of the month. There also seems to be an unwritten rule whereby they dont show each other up, a nice little arrangement.

Thats why Gary Neville is making them all look like *word censored*. I saw before one game last season the bloke analysing Wigan's tactical setup and it was clear he had done some homework before going in-front of the camera when more or less every other pundit would just say "Wigan play some nice football but they're inconsistent" :blah: I can fucking see that for myself thanks.

The worst was Alan Shearer in the world cup when talking about the (I think) Japanese "nobody knows much about them to be honest". ITS YOUR FUCKING JOB TO FIND OUT ABOUT THEM :banghead:
