McDowell its over dude...no more - Hallelujah

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Essien :? with all the funds he has brought in does Wenger , even in his deluded mind, believe this is a masterstroke :banghead:

Should a club of our stature not be shopping from the top of the tree, not gathering up cast off wrecks from Chelsea's 'special one' era

At least he could show our players what a medal won in England looks like :!:

Chill out green has it happened? Let's not have another Kalou situation.

He's too gone now, but I could see Wenger signing him. He's old enough not to get in the way of Frimpong and Coquellin. But IF he stayed fit, would be very useful this year. Not saying I'm happy about it, but from Wenger's standpoint it would be the type of signing he would make.

Be a fun day anyway!

Only if he is good enough, if he doesn't make it at Arsenal he will be loaned out each season to a variety of clubs .
That went right over your head didn't it

Signing essien for me is no better than signing Michael Owen - a past it constantly injured crock whose only asset will be their cost   We are a two bob club in every aspect except ticket prices  I'm sick of wenger bullshit talk about how we are working hard to make signings but will only sign top quality players and if we don't buy now then we will buy in december

If this *word censored* is interested in making this club winners again then he offloads walnut, bendtner and chamakh and uses the funds raise from their sales to bring in players to improve the team as it now stands and any incoming player doesn't need to be top quality to be better than diaby, Gibbs and walnu  Allowing an average guy to walk away for free when there are holes to be filled that a 12m transfer fee would help makes absolutely no fcuking sense and I doubt if there is another manager in world football that would do this

Morning guys. Looks like we are not even trying to sign 15 years old :banghead: . There are good signs of selling some deadwood.

ARSENAL TO MAKE LATE MOVE!! Transfer DLD

Post by Step »

It has been confirmed that Arsenal are to make a last ditch attempt to lure BRIAN SWANSON to the London Colney Training ground.

They are looking for a short term 8 hour loan deal but SWANSON has declined to comment or appear at the Training ground gates.

The lack of any Sky Sports News interest in the comings and goings at the Gooners is as usual laughable.

£7m?!

Is that fee confirmed? If so, then that is an absolute steal and it would be criminal not to bid for a goal scoring midfielder/ forward who in his prime is getting double figures in the goals column.

We have made some good signings this summer but it seems to be that we can never actually BUILD a team but are constantly having to rebuild from other teams taking our best players.

We have a mid table team mentality :banghead:

as much as i dislike bendy bolloc$ the fact that we will not be signing another striker during the window means i would rather have him as the main back up than chamakh and park
