SkySports have just announced that we have signed a new born baby boy from France called Pepe. He has shown amazing talent at dribbling.

If I were him I would, just for one time, buy the club a big name for 30 million. Just once. So that everyone would just shut up for once.

He would be glad, the financial department wouldn't be in tears considering that Wenger never ever touches his own budget but chooses to use little of all the funds he creates himself by selling his best players, and the player in question would be happy.

And ofcourse: WE WOULD BE HAPPY!

So please let it happen. Bring on Cavani, Hulk, Falcao, Ganso or even MVila today. Just for this one time!

Are you on drugs?

Mate, don't even begin starting to dream. It will never happen while Wenger is in charge of the purse strings

"We've been given word that, as things stand, it is unlikely there will be any major arrivals at Arsenal before the transfer deadline."

Time for this thread to be put to bed

We've been given word that, as things stand, it is unlikely there will be any major arrivals at Arsenal before the transfer deadline.

Reports linking them with a move for Newcastle midfielder Chieck Tiote are wide of the mark, while there have been informal conversations with Chelsea about midfielder Michael Essien - the Blues are open to him leaving on loan - but this move will not happen unless Arsene Wenger changes his mind on a player he has not been tracking.

This will no doubt anger some:
European football expert Andy Brassell: "A deal to take Arsenal Park Chu-Young to Celta Vigo on loan is close. The South Korea international met his new teammates at the club's Balaidos stadium this morning and is currently undergoing a medical, ahead of a planned presentation this afternoon. The Gunners will continue to pay a significant chunk of his £2.5m annual wage.

Kroenke already has his summer profits - of course no one else is going to arrive.

the big news was keeping Walcott which will be like "a new signing"
and then we also have our other new player Jack Wilshere to look forward to later in the season.

buying a reserve goalkeeper would kill Fabianski
buying a defensive midfielder would kill Diaby

I have tried to keep my cool with Arsenal and Wenger but as from now we are the biggest joke in world football
