As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

No Liverpool sold their best player to Chelsea instead. They then went with fans pressure, hired Kenny Dalglish who proceeded to blow £100M on complete and utter shit.

Very true but why on earth would you loan out a player who cost you 32 Million. He only had one season and look at Torres first season.
To me that loan deal was madness and an utter waste of 32 Million. He could have come on as a sub and scored a few goals this season. He was great at Newcastle and I am sure will succeed at West Ham.
I dont think Chamakh will score many for us this season but at least he was free apart from his wages burning a whole in fans pockets. Not as bad as Squaillachi mind you. Did we actually scout that guy before offering him 60,000 a week. Now he is really taking the piss.

Most victim fans wanted to keep "the king" as their manager. But their owners seen tat he was an arrogant, prickly weasel who was underachieving and got rid sharpish. So fan pressure didn't count for much.
Pity after all these years of similair shit we cant do the same.
