THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

What is that talk about scum still talking to Moutinho about transfer even after the deadline. Good luck to them. Why bitter, when we are not even trying.

Wenger, show some fucking class and go now. Protest to the board that you are disgusted that you are the face of Arsenal and their scheming manipulation of the fair minded supporters. You hate the way that the supporter is scammed and lied to? Oh, wait a minute, you can't? ,,,,,, what's that? You were in it up to your neck for seven years
Mate mod or not i totally agree with you. There is no problem with peoples opinions on Wenger good or bad its just the abuse we've been told to cut down on not opinions, none of us want this place shutdown again thats all we care about on here and the quote above has no abuse in it IMO.

Agree with this, and also Flash's point that it is a valid opinion and not mere abuse. Have spent a while writing an article on the current situation and then realised I have no idea how to go about getting it published on here :banghead:
Don't worry mate because no-one's interested and it's probably all been said before so don't waste your time.

:D

Another 2 seasons of this busted flush to go, I wonder what the odds are that we'll eventually win a shit trophy like the league cup and he'll get a contract extension on the back of it.... :banghead:

I feel flat and like I have lost my bird and my PS3 all in one night. I also feel sympathy for Giroud because its not fair for us to get on his back if it takes a few games for him to score.
Wenger should never put him in a situation where he is the only striker apart from Chamakh. Podolski is not a center forward so :banghead:

The problem is all the lies that comes out of his mouth.

Thursday press conference we are active in the transfer market .

Friday morning I heard a rumour that arsenal told the fa expect no incomings then a few hours later some bbc reporter confirms this .We were never active so just say so .

Something is terribly wrong at arsenal maybe it's the board ,wenger or both but the splits between the fans and the club is getting bigger and they don't give a flying fuck as I said before we are a rich mans Blackburn .

Agree with your point 100% mate....putting aside the argument about whether or not we need additional players.....why did not Wenger just say ".....we will not be signing anyone...." then if we did sign someone great....but to build up fans expectations, just to crush them at 11.00 PM last night, is just plain cruel. I used to think it was down to English not being his first language, but definately not the case now. He's a git

GG wants to make it known that he is now enlightened, I am now anti-Wenger.

I am sick of his double talk. false promises and lies. The only way to oust him is to leave the stadium that was built on deceptive dillusion and stay away . The bean counters would then shit their knickers and realise Wenger has to go.

How many would back that idea :?:

Worst case, I was expecting a 2nd striker to come off the the bench. Who might be a young/unknown but lots of potential and trier. I can live with Jenkinson and Santos as back up full backs. Deench could fill in for DM. Deench actually passes the ball better. Not upgrading/replacing Chamakh makes me feel sick. I myself mad at spending my precious time on supporting this fraud. If scum can't finish above us this season, they all should jump off and wind down the club.

As I eluded to in my wonderful, insightful and witty article, I too have completely lost patience with AW. I've stuck by him as long as possible but this is one shit summer too many. Too many lies, too little ambition.

We'll always sell the stadium out in the foreseeable future and tbh I'd always go to support AFC even if I disliked the current manager/regime.
