On that performance I am optimistic we can compete for 4th spot.

Pressed well as a team - guess Bould has had more impact than I predicted.

Cazorla - top class creative.
Podolski - worked socks off.
Arteta - very controlled.
Oxlade-Chamberlain - bright.
Giroud - gets into positions but needs to be physically stronger (big man but needs to use strength better and not be a Bendtner who punched below his weight)
Diaby - best game in years!

Liverpool a three man team - Sterling, Gerrard and Allen.

Dembele, Dejong and Cesar woulda cost £20 mil put together. Oh well.

You joker, Cesar is a joke. His decline at Inter has been well documented, he was ONCE a world class GK, ask Inter fans, do you even watch football outside of france :-P

A classic RAWK effort:
Absolutley fucking seething with anger. Was a definite pen for the foul on Suarez. But as per usual thanks to fucking Sky and Mister Fergusons influence on the bent FA it goes unnoticed. I'm so fucking sick of the BLATANT CORRUPTION in this game I seriously feel like fucking it off altogether. Fuck my fucking life

I know this thread is going to be about the performance tonight.... The thing that depressed me most was the performance of the crowd, from start to end. Had to watch the game on mute because I literally felt sick at the Arsenal fans out-singing us all game. Depressing.

Quote from a fan on Red and White Kop forums. Well done Lads

Really impressed with our performance today. Both full backs put some great tackles in Mer and TV were solid.
Pod and Ox I thought worked hard to help our fullbacks and was impressed with our shape when defending. Arteta, Diaby & Cazorla were superb and hopefully Giroud will come good. Was even impressed with Ramsey when he came on.

Have to say that was a performance we would never have put in with Song in the team. Liverpool were dire but 3 points at Anfield is always a great achievement, they normally step it up against bigger teams like last week.

Happy to be proved wrong re my predictions and pleasantly surprised by Diaby. Thought Arteta was also absolute class today, really understated performance, and Podolski and Cazorla really impressed as well as looking pretty solid defensively. To be fair to Giroud thought he was isolated a lot, some great knock-downs but nobody was supporting and made a clever run to drag Agger out of position for the first goal. Will take a lot of weight off him when he bags a goal, Southampton home should be the perfect chance for it.

Big result because the international break this early on gives the atmosphere at every club two weeks to resound. I wouldn't want to be in the Liverpool camp right now.

@Arsenal: Wenger: "It looks very good for Wilshere. I would say give him a month." #LFCvAFC

Liverpool are stank, can't play the way Rodgers wants. Great win, Cazorla continues to impress but Giroud looks like a barely mobile tree so far, hope he improves.

Maybe I am blinded but I thought arteta was our best player today (as well as last week) - those lads in front of him can only do well when they have somebody sitting in a disciplined position in front of back 4 and arteta is intelligent enough to do that.

I also thought that our whole back line played well today and jenkinson in particular impressed me defensively (although not so much when in possession  ). Cannot understand the talk about sterlings performance today - for me jenks showed him down a blind alley all day long and rarely let the cross in by him 8)

Btw a big "two fingers up" to the knobheads singing 1 arsene wenger in anfield
