The Pravda bus is actually not bad, £89 including match ticket. When you consider the match ticket will probably be £40, quite possibly more, it's pretty decent. I just don't really fancy sitting on there for 8-10 hours with no alcohol
anyone who wants to know the terror of these Arsenal coaches, seek out brazilianGooner's epic trip to Wigan last year.

 :? :o :banghead:

Any tips for where to go after the match in Dusseldorf baring in mind it's a Tuesday night? I've never been.
Oh yes, they do (they presumably don't like it, but the have to go along with it!). Have never been there myself, though, don't tend to go to Düsseldorf really...

It's still valid I reckon - you can get your credit back, if you return the card after the match. Or keep it for use at events in the future, such as concerts or the CL-Final Cologne vs Arsenal in 2083... :barscarf:

Dusseldorf has got a very decent altstadt marc...so you should find some decent places open late.

the beer, "altbier" is a darker, more bitter/ale like beer. I like it...but I'm an alcoholic so it goes without saying  :D

I guess we'll find out the ticket allocation tomorrow, i was having a look and the most expensive ticket attheir stadium is £70 so i reckon the price won't be too far off that.

The Group stage of the CL is just one big bore now isn't it? Another uninspiring draw - Olympiakos away as the last game again, where we'll field a second string and get rolled over. Another bunch of average Germans and a French one season wonder team.

Perhaps its time to go back to the days of 2 legged knock-outs all the way through. This borefest until December just doesn't work anymore. Have a good look at some of the crowds you'll see for these group games - Chelsea against those Danish no-marks for example. Just an overbloated boring competition these days until you get to the last 16

French clubs charge more for Champions league than the usual league matches.

As Arsenal have not released details of the game in Montpellier I was browsing the Montpellier Hérault Sport Club website and they are selling tickets from €35 to €150. unless they put away fans in the top of the 3 tier stand it is probably €60-€65.

They will have to sell tickets fast when they do announce details as it is now 2 weeks until the game.
