Cesc to return?
Re: Cesc Unhappy with Whores
I honestly don't understand the hostility towards Cesc on here from certain posters.
Try to empathise. As a boyhood Arsenal fan you join the Gooners as a schoolboy and are 'living the dream'. When you're 16 the club let you join the 4th biggest club in Spain (lets say Valencia for example). You have a few years there and enjoy a good relationship with the fans and become captain but win nothing whilst Barcelona and Real Madrid dominate the domestic scene
Your boyhood team, Arsenal, who you have unfinished business with have developed one of the finest teams in modern history back home and you get the call that they want you to come home.
Now how many 'true Gooners' would then say 'no I'm staying at Valencia forever'.
At least he didn't do a greedy, Lesbian Haircut, Cashley or RvP and join a domestic rival and regularly make shitty, snide remarks about the club. Cesc - you can come back whenever you like mate (but I fear you never will)

Re: Cesc Unhappy with Whores
I know and I agree, Cesc like many of those who criticise, gave up on the dream of Arsenal competing for the big prizes, he stopped believing in Wenger like the rest of us. Luckily for him he had a great escape route, playing for barcelona. At least we were spared of the ignominy of watching him every week playing in a chelsea or a utd shirt.SteveO 35 wrote:I honestly don't understand the hostility towards Cesc on here from certain posters.

Thats why I hope he stays at Barca, and I believe he will.

Re: Cesc Unhappy with Whores
So he loved Barcelona enough to simply walk away at 16? I know If I love something I will fight to my death for it.
More like he knew he wouldn't get a game, Barca wasn't a dominant force in European football (like they are now) the successful and all conquering Arsenal came knocking with the promise of being fast tracked and he left easily enough to play with Henry, Bergkamp, Pires and all.
He could have stayed and fought for his place but we were a pull then, he came to further his career and his love for Barcelona couldn't have been that intense, he jumped ship then did the same when we became shit and they became all conquering.
Poor little sausage.

He left to play for Guardiola , now he is a bit unsettled as Vilanova is not his idol. Who knows should Wenger go and Pep come in he might return but not until that happens.

Like i said..no chance he was going to give up on barcelona so quickly to go and play for the likes of utd. He will probably finish his career at barca like he wants.

Re: Cesc Unhappy with Whores
I don't really give much of a shit about Cesc tbh. He's gone. All this player worship is a bit meh... If his coming back made the team stronger (and it would, let's be honest) then fine I'd like to see him back, but if not? Meh. I'm not gonna be upset just because it's Cesc Fabregas not coming back. He's gone, get over it, lads.
Within reason (excluding kúnts like Cuntley, Adebayore, Barton, ChavTerry etc etc) I don't really care who plays for us as long as they make the team better.

Its not Cesc I miss at all but RVP. Corzola looks an able replacement for Cesc but RVP cant be replaced.
Re: Cesc Unhappy with Whores
Cesc would be a great addition to the team but it isn't going to happen. Wenger and Kroenke don't pay as much as Barca wants and I don't believe Cesc wants to come back either.

Cesc - Arsenal paying more than Barca
article on Soccernet says he would of stayed at The Arsenal for life and if Barca had not made an offer he was very happy here - and he didn't move for money.
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story ... th?cc=5901
He took a pay cut . ????
i think two things about this - one, he's not happy being a bit part at Barca and for Spain and two, Cazorla is shining at both.
personally, I wouldn't be surprised to see Cesc back as a replacement for Arteta in a year or two.
Jack, Cesc and Cazorla as a three

Oi Cesc, you wanted to leave and you got your wish. We have moved on, we've got Santi who's ahead of you in the Spanish midfield pecking order.
