Got to agree with this, I don't understand the euphoria over just one very good game, we have to judge him over the season, also, isn't his contract up for renewal at the end of this season? Could be another Rosicky here, let's just be glad that this scum shirt wearning crock is starting, at long last, after only 6 seasons, to look good, but I still remember his performances against Newcastle away (4-4) and the WBA home game (2-3).

I've always thought Diaby could be OK if and when he had a run in the team uninterrupted by Injury which hasn't happened yet .
Some players when they have been injured have to change their game to stop them being injured again in the same way .
Davis Platt was one of those and it took him a long time to adjust since his whole game was tackling,Pires was another who had to modify his game to avoid leaving his ankle exposed .

Diaby isn't however the messiah who will save us ,he's just a player who can make it at the top level ,in a good team, not carry the team as some on here seem to demand .
Lets hope he stays injury free because he is sorely needed,as is everyone now !

I think you have to put Injury prone and poor form together. Most of our long term injury players dont really hit the highs.
Recently Van Persie went into orbit, Rosicky did great but got injured again, Ramsey has never been the same, Eduardo was sold, Sagna seems to come back and always do well, Wilshere is to be seen, Diaby has done great so far but is seriously fragile and that does not work in the Prem. Still if Rvp can stay fit then there is hope for Diaby.
Lets face it we can only win in this situation because he was a player most of us thought was finished.

I think the guy has improved over the first 3 games. Was well impressed with his performance against Liverpool.
While there will be sterner tests for him where he will not have the space he had on Sunday I really hope he can stay injury free and give himself a chance to shine and show us what he really is capable of.
The Lad deserves a bit of luck with injuries and I hope he gets it.

Worth a read - about Diaby and the ineptitude of our medical staff. I remember reading last year that RvP had also dumped the clubs medical staff and has been fully fit ever since..

Nice one LDB, I haven't seen that site before.
They even have an Arsenal transfer rumours thread there, and it's still running. :-P
We can safely assume that Wilshere won't be back for a good few seasons yet.

Interesting read. Would love to know some more to the story, especially from the club's point of view. I'm sure they aren't "inept" but it appears their methods aren't working. Perhaps London Colney uses too much "new age" and "cutting edge" treatments that aren't as effective as they research suggested they'd be?

Gerrard and Terry both injured, Diaby scored and didn't get crocked (yet) and Giroud and KOs unused. Per kept a clean sheet (four in a row  ) and pod got a little run out.

not bad so far for us.

Well, yet again our medical staff is looking quite incompetent. They improve facilities on a constant basis, so how about a shift in staff for this time?
