I don't understand...

This morning I logged into The Arsenal website at 9.20am in preperation to purchase a ticket against 5pur2 with my silver membership at 10am.
I had a short time in the queue but was logged in 5 minutes later.
I kept refreshing to ensure I was always logged in, BUT, at 9.45am I entered the queue again and did not get to the purchase page until 10.20am.
At this point there was one left in the Lower North, block 10 I think, and limited availability in The Clockend.
I bought one in Block 24 Clock End so I'm happy with that, BUT , I don't understand how they went so quickly??
Do I need to have several windows open? Or use some other kind of crafty way of having a chance of getting my purchase in earlier?
This is common occurance for me for games like this, I'm not that bothered as I always get one, but would interested to know your thoughts/ideas/experiences??

20 minutes is a long time to be open when the teams doing well and its Spurs on sale.

it crashed for me last week,

i was purchasing 2 Olympiacos tickets and was in the queue and got through, waited 5 mins till they were on sale and then went to chekcout,

this then crashed and then i had to go back to the queue to get into the box office, took about a hour then

A game on tv, Category A and still tickets are like Goldust - silly money for a ticket - but they can basically charge what they want these days and the ground will still sell out.

Kroenke must look at comments from people like you and think hey lets raise the top price of a ticket to £150 next season.

I accept that the Spurs game is "the big one" but seriously at what point does can this be considered a rip off?
£80+ for a lunchtime game is not value for money.

Well said Mikey!!! but dont forget RedMember is a wum and posts 99% of his shit to get a reaction. As he's said in the past he's been pissed at half time at champions league nights and thinks Almunia was the best keeper at the club last year.... its all shit put him on the ignore/foe list

I have done a couple of Spurs games and yes the atmosphere is much better than other games but I refuse to pay £80+ for a match to a club that sells its best players each summer. When the ambition is there to actually try and win the league I may be more persuaded.

I love my team and what comes with it. I’m sensible enough to know we are run by wankers , but never the less I love going and having the freedom to pick the games I want to go which is any game I like.

This is hardly an akb. I was around before wenger and I was going games before wenger. Hopefully the old goat will be gone soon. Games like Scum home and away , and chavs home and away are a big deal for me and all my mates. I would never stop just to spite wenger or the board as its me who misses out in the grand scheme of things.

Imagine we do ever win stuff, its “so called akbs” like me that will see it along with a close group of mates. While you scramble for tickets for the CC cup

A friend of mine was booking mine but he was either too busy or forgot so I sent him a reminder. He eventually got one for me in Block 120 at about 12.30. The confirmation e-mail was sent at 12.47.

My point is, its supply and demand - demand massively outstrips supply - even when a game is on tv - so they can charge whatever they want.

Do i agree with it? Like paying it? No - but you can see why they do it , its Modern Football.

Its disgusting, really. But, i doubt those seats will be empty on the day - i hope they are though in a way, because whilst 8o is a piss take in itself, over 100 to watch a football match is crazy.
