RIP Otto Stich

Otto Stich (January 10, 1927 - September 13, 2012) was a Swiss politician.

Born in Basel, he was elected to the Federal Council of Switzerland on December 7, 1983 and handed over office on October 31, 1995. He is affiliated to the Social Democratic Party.
During his time in office he held the Federal Department of Finance and was President of the Confederation twice in 1988 and 1994.

RIP Peter Lougheed

Edgar Peter Lougheed, PC, CC, AOE, QC, (July 26, 1928 – September 13, 2012) was a Canadian lawyer, politician and professional football player. He served as the tenth Premier of Alberta from 1971 to 1985, and is widely considered one of the greatest premiers in Canadian history.

RIP András Szente

András Szente (born December 10, 1939 – September 14, 2012) was a Hungarian sprint canoer who competed from the late 1950s to the late 1960s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won two silver medals at Rome in 1960, earning them in the K-1 4 x 500 m and the K-2 1000 m events.
Szente also won two silver medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships (K-1 4 x 500 m: 1966, K-4 1000 m: 1958).

Jacques Antoine (14 March 1924 – 14 September 2012) was a French writer of game shows, born in Neuilly-sur-Seine. He had successes in the 1980s with Treasure Hunt and Interceptor, and in the 1990s with Fort Boyard and The Crystal Maze.

He was the author of "Jock-A-Mo" (1954), a hit that was later recreated as "Iko Iko",[1] by The Dixie Cups and recorded by many artists including Dr. John, Belle Stars, The Grateful Dead and Cyndi Lauper.
