Kicking and screening

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I liked the film and I liked the book but have never been able to reconcile how if he was so much a fan why he wasn't there that night in 1989 it wasn't hard at all to get a ticket in fact and I might be wrong in thinking it but he just never did away games at the time ?
I'm also at odds how someone just bins the team for 3 years whilst he attends Cambridge ,which itself is only 1 hour away from London !
Good Book, well written but lauded as the great one who brought football out of the dark ages and into the caring sharing new man age ................nah !

Having said that I bet it was a good night out ,I love the SOTG reminds me of my childhood ,last went there when Mr Lydon released the VCD's of the last Pistols tour !
