Totally agree with both these posts.SteveO 35 wrote:Lol - great minds and all that. I agree with all of the points you've raised mate and I was sat there actually predicting it as it unfolded. I had my father in law round who is a Man Ure fan and he was saying at half time how Wenger needed to bring on a striker to which I replied "not before the 70th minute"......what happens next - tracksuits off on the 68th minute and take to the field at exactly that time......AGAIN !! And who was it to make way - surely Gervinho - nope lets take the contrary view like he did when he subbed the Ox against the Mancs last year, and take off Podolskiaugie wrote:Lets check the usual wenger performance/habits from yesterdays game -
1. Waiting for the 70th minute to make a substitution........check
2. Failing to see how utterly shit his latest african signing is........check
3. Showing loyalty to his latest money grabbing mercenary (walnut) by bringing him on ahead of more loyal, but crucially better, players........check
4. Taking off the only player in any type of goalscoring form (podolski) despite being 1 down at the time........check
Despite all this we have some braindead fans who continue to sing "one arsene wenger" - I have a word to describe these "fans" but if I use it a ban would be heading my way at pace![]()

I think I've said enough I about how I feel regarding Walcott representing the club. When we had 3 top quality players in Fabregas, Nasri and RvP that wouldn't commit to the club we sold them to the highest bidder before the window closed....so why the fuck are we stuck with the useless, greedy little over-rated shitebag Walcott that doesn't want to be at the club??
Good result yesterday and we were the better team but we missed a great chance to win and strike an early blow. Ending Man city’s unbeaten home run might have added pressure to the expectation they’re under but even if we’d won I expect it would be Man United who would eventually prove to be the team to capitalise.
The all too familiar signs of sabotage from Wenger are still there. The substitions he makes still look like they are being decided before the game and not based on the game.
And there always seem to be a weakness in at least one area of the team these last few season. While the defence and midfield looks to have improved it’s now up front where we’re short of options and quality. The money is there to have ensured this wasn’t the case so there is no excuse!
When the run in comes (if we are still in contention by then?!), I expect the pressure that a succession of must win games brings to be too much for the manager and his limited squad to cope with.
Make no mistake, the biggest hindrance of all at Arsenal is Wenger. By finishing in the CL places he will always do enough to keep the wolves from the door … but at the same time will always hold us back from achieving what the club is capable of.
For me 2006 to the present will go down as the lost years.
