Arsenal v Chavs

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Because our manager is a fucking idiot.
Has the Self Harmer offered any explanation for this decision yet?

Oh I forgot, he doesn't need to because he's worked in football for 30 years while we're just a bunch of selfish, spoilt wankers (aren't we Mr Hill-Wood ?) who should just turn up and lick the toilet seat that Lord Wenger perches on and just be pleased that no other manager in the world could ever be as good

Have they shortened the season to 6 games instead of the usual 38.I see the guy who is not a scum fan wanking all over them again similar to last season when he told us they would finish miles ahead of us,the same team who finished in a CL qualifying place and still managed not to qualify for the CL

He was asked after the match something like...
"Was it a mistake to drop Mertesaker?"

he replied something like....
"Maybe. But we will never know because we cannot replay the game"

Not exact quote but close enough.

See the usual suspects are all over the board more concerned with posting about Babatunde than talking about Arsenal.

So he hasn't then. A typically curt answer from the worst loser in history - something which amazes me given the practice he's had in dealing with it for 7 years.

Up there with his decision to leave the then on fire Arshavin out of the FA Cup semi with the Chavs (and playing Fabianski in goal in the same game), and his timely introduction of the now fat, disinterested waster for Oxlade-Chamberlain against the Mancs last year. Still, we all know nothing about football

I can understand the logic in playing Kosch. The guy is faster than Merty and Chelski in theory play a much shorter passing game than previously so height wouldn't be as big an asset. I personally blame Kosch for his mistakes.

I had hoped to be more positive for my first post on here but got to admit I am struggling today!
Rarely have I been more depressed watching an Arsenal performance.
Last season at least we always had a bit of hope with RVP, now we don't even know who our best striker is!

Anyway I will be there again come Wednesday night. Up the Gunners!

Anyway, at least Surrey Gooner and gunner_ace will feel happy now the Chavs are 7 points above us.

I'm sure I could hear at least two Gooners singing "We know what we are.......Champions of Europe" today
