First time I've actually seen it and it's worse than described. If he'd been a bit late or actually got some ball then fair enough but reality is he flies into the tackle with his studs up and doesn't even go down the line of the ball, as if he's just aiming for the bloke's ankle. Should have walked without a shadow of a doubt, Halsey bottled it and obviously didn't want to be accused of 'losing control' by issuing a second red.skizz_b wrote:sorry to bring that c**t up on here but can someone explain how he wasnt sent off for this?

Re: Weekend games
When you watch it in slow motion I think Evans was two footed and completely over the ball too, although realistically ref never gonna send him off when he's been snapped in the same challenge. Doubt he would have sent Shelvey off if it wasn't for Evans rolling round on the floor though, whereas after van Stapleton's tackle the bloke got straight back up, I reckon if he'd made as much of a meal of it as Jonny Evans he would have walked too.skizz_b wrote:cant say much more than that to be honest, completely agree.northbank123 wrote:First time I've actually seen it and it's worse than described. Re: Weekend games
Sorry! To be fair the defending has been more comical than our game earlier. Ferdinand looks dreadful out there.

Chokers will still lose. Bet in play Utd will win comfortably.
n.b. Have Utd had their customary penalty given yet?
Re: Weekend games
They should have had a penalty but didn't get itTop Londoner wrote:Kvltman wrote:3 goals in 3 minutes at OT.

Van Persie should've equalised some minutes ago. Great chance.
Re: Weekend games
Rooney good chance but wide.
4-3 to Utd I bet
4-3 to Utd I bet

Re: Weekend games
We'll be below either West Ham or Sunderland if they win their game in hand
Now where's Patrick Barclay or James Olley of the Evening Standard when you need them. Apparently although those who criticised Wenger had been well and truly silenced on the back of the last six games
Well fuck you both - currently 7th and possibly 8th if either of those tin-pots win their game
Yeah Arsene you showed us all
