100 years ago

Woolwich Arsenal played at stamford bridge against chelsea for a charity match
this was line-up
Crawford Shaw Peart King Thomson McKinnon Greenaway Common McLaughlan Flanagan Lewis
a little danger during the trip to the pensioners

Sounds like a distant relative of Andre Santos was doing the driving that day......

No, the driver just received a pigeon post telling him Arsenal would only pay him 2 shillings, not the agreed 2 and 6, to drive the bus to the game.
