So we got good cash for him.

The replacement part of the attacking puzzle has yet to click, but it surely is too early to judge Giroud.
Gervinho I will judge at the end of this season; so far he reminds of Hleb, great approach play, erratic final ball.

I do not blame Wenger for Chamakh.
He was very good for his first four months, but something has happened to cause a drastic loss of form.
I cannot believe it is just football related, I think there has been a personal incident or problem of some sort.

:coffeespit: :coffeespit: :coffeespit:

Now I'm no massive fan of Hleb's but to compare him to this brainless twat is an insult to our former twinkle-toed, but shot shy magician. If you truly believe that Quartz then I think it's probably time you ditched that old analogue tv of yours and moved into the digital age. Either that or make an appointment with your local Spec-savers!!

Its not something you learn at the age of 26 or 28 or however old Gervinho is. We paid 10 million pounds expecting a finished article instead we get a clown who couldn't finish his dinner.

Who signed the camel?

Why is it, that Arsenal seems to be the only club where the fans can never ever be in a position to judge a footballer after more than 100 minutes of watching them?
We are never allowed to judge the manager until 2010...which then turn into 2011...then 2012...until 2014 when the new commercial deals come out etc etc...

It's usually not hard to tell if a player is of requisite quality or not.
Watch Radamel Falcao play for 45 minutes and even if he misses a few, you can tell by what he tries and his touch and link-up play that is class. Same goes for Aguero, same with Benzema.

Giroud is shite. I don't get all this 'judge him' etc. You coulda watched him over a whole season last year in his record year when he scored all those goals, and despite that he was still rubbish for Montpellier. Thankfully, he was playing TSG Evian and Lorient every week....

Gervinho has been in England more than a year. I ask again: why can we still not 'judge him'? We paid £12.5 million for this crock of shite. Rubbish first touch, poor vision, never looks up or plays with his head up, shocking crosser, abysmal passer and cannot play one-touch football. No awareness. And he's hardly 17 as LDB said.

I'll ask again: why can we not judge him?! It's been more than a whole year I mean Arsenal fans are something else.
Are ManYoo fans still not allowed to judge Bebe then? Cos he has not had 'a run of games', but they all somehow seem to think he's crap.
Wonder why that is... :rubchin:

Yes its early in the season but I do have to agree that Giroud, The Mekon and Chamkah(he is utter shite) are fairly useless.

On a positive Podolski is a great finisher. Our biggest problem is when Athletico Madrid sold Torres they went out and spent 33 Million Euros on that awesome forward whos name I forget but his goals I dont.
We again search the bargain basement and are left with poo

Youre well into united this year arent you Baba

Anyway i agree Gervinho has been here long enough now to be judged (unlike Baba's best mate Giroud) and to be fair he's been shite so far

So he wanted to leave? He still had a year to go on his contract. A lot can change in football within a year. He could've gotten injured and then changed his mind and signed the contract. With his contribution, we could've been sitting top of the league and the idea of signing a new contract would've been more attractive to him. Usmanov could've taken over and matched his demands.

Whatever it is, you simply don't sell your best player to Manchester Fucking United. PERIOD.

It's about a point of principle, are we a big club or not? Big clubs don't sell their top players to direct rivals.

It's clear that to the board and Wenger, money > ambition, reputation, standing, trophies, fans.

That is fucked up. No other club has a board as money-hungry as ours, that they would sell their fucking mother for a bit of cash. Honestly, I could see our board selling Wilshere to Spurs for the right price.

Usmanov In.
Also doesn't make any business sense when he blatantly wanted to go and we were being offered that kind of money.

Fuckin' hell, Copenhagen's stadium was JCL paradise yesterday or what? It looked like half the stadium was Chelsea (I'm pretty sure one end was full of Danish "supporters"), sounded more like a friendly match than anything else.
